I am constantly setting things aside as I come across them. I was looking at an 8 1/2 by 11 inch matstack and pulled out some papers to put on card fronts. Here they are - ready for the (simple) finishing touches.
The first one here was done with a new stencil (for me) from Picket Fence. The second here was done with strips from the tops of patterned paper pages.
And these are some items that I stamped with stamps that I happened across and also left-overs from my calendar pages. Hopefully they will make it onto cards soon.
Just a little update. Today is my fingers surgeries. Thanks for the good wishes. Also, my calendars for 2025 are all finished. Yahoo! Now, as I get together with friends, I can deliver their calendars!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Prayers for your hand. Love the idea of cutting papers up for cards. I have my 2026 calendars done also. Thanks for having them on your website.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for sucessful and fast healing. Thanks for the ideas for dsp.
ReplyDeleteWhen I set things aside it takes a very long time for me to run across them again! I wish you the best on your surgery and hope you have a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your creativity in using your card parts. Best of luck with your surgeries. I hope all goes well and you heal quickly.
ReplyDeleteI love to just play like this, organizing and whatnot. It's especially fun to simply make card foundations like this, or put together basic sketches for later use. I have a bunch made up and waiting their turn. I even have some ephemera parts made up and set aside. Right now everything seems in such a rush, but I can't wait to just slow down and play. You have some pretty starts! I love your idea for using the top strips. How inspiring!
