With Love & Prayers


I was thinking about using this image for my April 2027 calendar page, but decided it was just too big. I had stamped it a couple of times, so of course I had to color them and put them on cards. Here is the one that is finished so far. The image and the sentiment are both from Gina K. I colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I fussy-cut around the bottom of the image and popped that panel up on foam squares. Then I added the thin strip of black above the sentiment and matted with black.

    I love the way you fussy cut around the bottom of the image and then popped it up. Your coloring is beautiful, too. This makes a great card!

    Oh, what pretty flowers! Love how the cutting of their lower edge gives it a filigree look. It's a beautiful sentiment stamp, too.
