Marker on Rubber Stamps
Both of these cards use an old wood-mounted rubber stamp. I used markers to color the image, then spritzed it with water and stamped to the cardstock. This first one uses another old rubber stamp for the sentiment. The sentiment on the second one is from Gina K. The patterned papers are very old from my huge stash of 12 x 12 papers.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
This direct-to-stamp way of coloring is my favorite technique and the old wooden stamps, like from Hero Arts, work so great for it. I love the colors and patterns for these, Lynette, and well done using your pp! Hugs, Darnell
I appreciate that you have taken the time to visit my blog, and I'm happy that you have decided to leave me a comment. It truly means a lot to me! Have a wonderful day.
I don't think you could get the colors more perfect than the ink and paper match on these cards. You have a good eye. I love both!

ReplyDeleteThose whimsical flowers are so cute, and you matched their color to the pp perfectly. It's fun to just use old stuff sometimes, isn't it?
