I just made a note, assuming that I would remember what it was about. Of course, my memory isn't that good. LOL! My note only said, "3D emboss, then white ink then gold." So this is what I did, except my gold ink pad was dried up. I used an Altenew 3D folder to emboss the images. Then I rubbed my white ink pad over the embossed images. Then I rubbed my copper ink pad over the white. It is more shiny in person, naturally. For the sentiments, I first stamped them in white and then in copper, also. Life is just too busy, but it's all good! I guess I didn't get the embossing very deep on the bottom of the white panel because it doesn't show very well. But, it's there! I got a new die at the Dollar Tree, so of course I had to try it out right away. I did it once with white on the top of the panel, and once in ivory, but just the thin strip. I colored the ivory one, and you'll see it some day. I scored the lines with my Scor-Buddy. The sentiment is from Avery Elle.</span><div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br />Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!</span></div>Lynettehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13755933774705586510noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-953706074132289755.post-25524933463561827222024-02-14T06:00:00.018-06:002024-02-14T06:00:00.142-06:00Happy Valentine's Day!<span style="font-family: verdana;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZkKPxoG_wV0ic7ZkHWFEE_hR2VnATU2GLRC3i2pmlyPd_Lq73zUrJXOqMit39Z6YxTRLLuw9KJ36C5NtkhvwHkA34RQ76Rin8uA-OX1_oFob9SfoAataUUESm_J5x_RbwBUXTy5xIDb0YGtALUnO1U_-Hhayu10q4IHVIeRc204Pz1f1bYhNAlI7kKXE/s1940/P1040351.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1940" data-original-width="1620" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZkKPxoG_wV0ic7ZkHWFEE_hR2VnATU2GLRC3i2pmlyPd_Lq73zUrJXOqMit39Z6YxTRLLuw9KJ36C5NtkhvwHkA34RQ76Rin8uA-OX1_oFob9SfoAataUUESm_J5x_RbwBUXTy5xIDb0YGtALUnO1U_-Hhayu10q4IHVIeRc204Pz1f1bYhNAlI7kKXE/w334-h400/P1040351.jpg" width="334" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>Happy Valentine's Day, Friends!! Oh well. The grandkids will be fine with them. I did do a little bit more die-cutting so maybe I'll make some anniversary cards out of those pieces.</span><div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana;">This first card is for our one granddaughter. The heart was done with a Spellbinders die, backed with glitter paper. That panel is raised on foam squares. The embossing was done with a Darice folder. I added some sparkly enamel dots. The sentiment is from the same Recollections set as I used on the second card.</span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjSGP6KrYdAUc4obYyPVx_rq3xjDW3E6LE9hqWQSfKnghQMmTpdk5DHQg0PAntqzdR63HQUi46wUt6R2Y-rGv7s0082UaE9V1X1ueH5p-qcrgcyLMfKE-_QW1dvFZh8ArJoU2PlFYT1SoA5Jf4OqORnQ8hYyVPLY8KNCZqLEKD4OvG7sSb427TtbmL4cE/s1151/P1040344.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1151" data-original-width="906" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjSGP6KrYdAUc4obYyPVx_rq3xjDW3E6LE9hqWQSfKnghQMmTpdk5DHQg0PAntqzdR63HQUi46wUt6R2Y-rGv7s0082UaE9V1X1ueH5p-qcrgcyLMfKE-_QW1dvFZh8ArJoU2PlFYT1SoA5Jf4OqORnQ8hYyVPLY8KNCZqLEKD4OvG7sSb427TtbmL4cE/w315-h400/P1040344.jpg" width="315" /></a></div>This one was done with two embossing folders and a stamp from a Recollections set from several years ago. Unlike the others I've been using, I made this one very recently. The others were made years and years ago by someone else. I used alcohol inks for this one. I saw a card on Gina K's Instagram a couple of days ago that someone had made using about the same colors! (Mine was done about three or four weeks ago.) That card simply had a white-stamped sentiment, so I thought using a white layered die-cut would work, too.</span><div><br /></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana;">Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!</span></div>Lynettehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13755933774705586510noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-953706074132289755.post-9093528313251188022024-01-17T06:00:00.006-06:002024-01-17T06:00:00.128-06:00More Wintery Backgrounds<span style="font-family: verdana;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYD1J9de7JzYIBHvwnCvh1Jbv7dM4ERcQBc_qL1g3VEXpePTp7HT_A4zQcCSINP5hd-9ce33oM-kQkkMJrBFeFKZZciCqdyBpmbIlNewtTCAIji0LDTnysWuXC-xy7fvw7PvU8OB5zyZ9MekZ2vBTlA9DsY9vnbcYoVHSxtwe93WzT2CkhIGCXNyZ5Dws/s1256/P1040337.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1256" data-original-width="1008" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYD1J9de7JzYIBHvwnCvh1Jbv7dM4ERcQBc_qL1g3VEXpePTp7HT_A4zQcCSINP5hd-9ce33oM-kQkkMJrBFeFKZZciCqdyBpmbIlNewtTCAIji0LDTnysWuXC-xy7fvw7PvU8OB5zyZ9MekZ2vBTlA9DsY9vnbcYoVHSxtwe93WzT2CkhIGCXNyZ5Dws/w321-h400/P1040337.jpg" width="321" /></a></div>These first two use patterned paper for the backgrounds. I rubbed Versamark on the edges and used the gold powder on them, too, to separate them from the patterned paper, which is from a Paper Company matstack.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiplI1PT5JuJcB7QVPbFn1rb31Whs_mDBK8nvcsULmyfnMWpsOO5jYNs6JX6UVw-bJ4YE3njuse3QWMfYENPZ5QK2NOyBMYBOV0wQqjN0lwmCTbOl5DE1S0JTenFBbd3gWt-saYZ_A3cu-2Id-jGwulujJ2QZ95OKLyoDx7oBtjxx-rre4psjeeYnDpPTc/s1235/P1040331.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXeIgI73aFHXIrYMhlXGFz3XeL2KoCtCKeGCuwYCdeS9q3AfHitOnvy5UbKscvISra5sRjB3sxv-CgCgMo9ab-lL_E56j0wB_jStN-7TZRZnwaN1pST_8W2_-55pC276Vveg1re5yOGGFNgpyqaHRghJx2Mbo9CBwdprcK964UjkIeoJCfRM3HnwHuESs/s1085/P1040329.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1085" data-original-width="889" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXeIgI73aFHXIrYMhlXGFz3XeL2KoCtCKeGCuwYCdeS9q3AfHitOnvy5UbKscvISra5sRjB3sxv-CgCgMo9ab-lL_E56j0wB_jStN-7TZRZnwaN1pST_8W2_-55pC276Vveg1re5yOGGFNgpyqaHRghJx2Mbo9CBwdprcK964UjkIeoJCfRM3HnwHuESs/w328-h400/P1040329.jpg" width="328" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiplI1PT5JuJcB7QVPbFn1rb31Whs_mDBK8nvcsULmyfnMWpsOO5jYNs6JX6UVw-bJ4YE3njuse3QWMfYENPZ5QK2NOyBMYBOV0wQqjN0lwmCTbOl5DE1S0JTenFBbd3gWt-saYZ_A3cu-2Id-jGwulujJ2QZ95OKLyoDx7oBtjxx-rre4psjeeYnDpPTc/s1235/P1040331.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdVB96Vl8JwucOLmJCQYyv_z5_H_rNxQ8IPQFvLfmo44CO8J5SuKVicmox-MKHHEAkh9oAfPxWYeKzPtgyJK8_X1A3iyWOZwlXuWFkXNEJ3f_C8WnKRlCi3hkn0Vj1m_jFS6MbfYAD4R9Bk0soE0I50OMSTK_thFeEjwwd-BXG579_X6esFQiirWFfBs4/s1172/P1040328.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1172" data-original-width="906" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdVB96Vl8JwucOLmJCQYyv_z5_H_rNxQ8IPQFvLfmo44CO8J5SuKVicmox-MKHHEAkh9oAfPxWYeKzPtgyJK8_X1A3iyWOZwlXuWFkXNEJ3f_C8WnKRlCi3hkn0Vj1m_jFS6MbfYAD4R9Bk0soE0I50OMSTK_thFeEjwwd-BXG579_X6esFQiirWFfBs4/w309-h400/P1040328.jpg" width="309" /></a></div></div><br />Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!</span></div>Lynettehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13755933774705586510noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-953706074132289755.post-50299577615810062142024-01-11T06:00:00.014-06:002024-01-11T06:00:00.152-06:0050th Anniversary<span style="font-family: verdana;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmGTxIWwL3H_Fkxk1o9Xmd2NB4qaA61K6_jyyqXdSDn0gyigMackYEunxahVYUhwmwaWOG2WlOsuTQ13gS-GLMTW7cflFPY4z_WHdnqFi7kXU_Tl19ttQlo1jHH5vbQpm6uow_Dar8JDWk3KxFYEbmfKgPd5aBF8MZ2S7Gg-Y-R2h3DwuBbmDiNlcSE6k/s1895/P1040327.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1380" data-original-width="1895" height="291" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmGTxIWwL3H_Fkxk1o9Xmd2NB4qaA61K6_jyyqXdSDn0gyigMackYEunxahVYUhwmwaWOG2WlOsuTQ13gS-GLMTW7cflFPY4z_WHdnqFi7kXU_Tl19ttQlo1jHH5vbQpm6uow_Dar8JDWk3KxFYEbmfKgPd5aBF8MZ2S7Gg-Y-R2h3DwuBbmDiNlcSE6k/w400-h291/P1040327.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>It's my cousin's 50th Anniversary in March, and I'm actually ahead of the game! I hadn't made a stair-step card in a few years, so I thought it was about time. I cut ten of them, so you MAY be seeing more in the near future. I used a Gina K embossing folder for the gold foil matting, and a Gina K die for the leaves. I also used another die to cut the little hearts that you can barely see in the photo. The image stamp and sentiment are from a Papertrey set. If you want to see more of my stair-step cards, you can click on the link at the bottom of this post.</span><div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br />Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!</span></div>Lynettehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13755933774705586510noreply@blogger.com6
