Another card using up some more "card parts." This stamped image has been in my stamping room for many years. The stems and leaves are one stamp, and you have the option of using buttons for the flowers. I chose, however, to use Prima flowers. I'm pretty sure the stem/leaves stamp is from Papertrey Ink. I do know that the sentiment is from Papertrey. The brads I used are a dark chocolate, so I used chocolate ink for the sentiment and dark brown cardstock for the matting.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
A place for me to share the cards I create, and maybe a few other things, too!

Love and Thanks
I've had these stamp-offs for many, many years. I finally colored them up. I also went through all of my stamp-offs, picked out a few of them to color and use, and gave the rest to a friend who is going to bring to her retreat to share. I hope they all go to good homes! :) It feels good to have them gone. I'm not really sure, but I think these may be from Stampin' Up! I colored and matted them. I added some white dots with a gel pen to a couple hearts, and also some Nuvo drops to the center heart and the flower center. I matted the image panel and mounted on foam squares. The patterned paper is from a Recollections set.
This one is simply colored, matted and glued to the card front.

Simple Sympathy and Birthday
I used a friend's Stampin' Up! set to stamp these flowers and sentiments. Then I very simply colored and matted them all. Even though they are all the same, I am sharing the variety of colors.

Leaf Punch Sympathy
Here are two more sympathy cards I made that are similar to those that I mailed out. I used an EK Success punch for the leafy border. For this first one, I matted with glittery paper. I also scored double lines on each side of the sentiment, which is from Papertrey Ink.
I used plain cardstock to mat this card and only scored a single line above and below the sentiment, which is from Stampabilities, I believe.

Wild Flower Sympathy
The background for the flowers (Hero Arts) was done with a Kaleidacolor pad and a stamp from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from the same set as the flowers. The image panel is not matted, and is just an eighth inch smaller on each edge than the card base.

Wild Roses
I ordered a whole set of ink pads from Gina K and they arrived on Wednesday of last week. I'm so excited to use them! They are all labeled, organized and ready to go. Along with them, I got this free stamp set.
For this first card, I stamped on white cardstock and used Copic markers. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. After stamping and coloring, I used a Darice embossing folder to emboss the whole panel. I matted with Gina K cardstock.
This card just "happened." I wanted to stamp the first time on scratch paper, clean the stamp, and then I figured it would be ready to use. However, I couldn't get myself to throw away the first one! :) I had stamped it on a piece of kraft-ish cardstock. I colored the flowers with metallic colored pencils. The sentiment is from the same set as the flowers. I cut it with a die, matted it with black, and then a dark green. The card base is kraft.

Purple-Flowered Get Well
Another very simple card - my favorite kind:) I was going through a large folder of stamped images a couple weeks ago and pulled out some to color and use. This is one of them. I simply colored the flowers and leaves with Copics. I added lines on the sides of the image panel instead of matting - it matches exactly that way! I have no idea who makes the stamps. I also added tiny, clear gems for the flower centers.

Masculine Birthday
Oops, I forgot to get this written up and posted. So, a little late, here is my next card. Just a simple one, but it was nice to get a couple cards made.
I started with a kraft card base. The patterned paper is from Gina K. I've had some twine for quite a while, but I had never used it, that I can remember. The sentiment is an old Stampin' Up tag set and punches. That's it:)

Finally!
Finally I had some time to make a card. Actually, I have three new ones to share - one at a time.
I'm sending this to a friend from our stamping group. I used Gina K stamps and dies for the leaves and flower. The sentiment is from Stampabilities. I mounted the flower on foam squares. I used some copper Glimmer Mist over the flower and also over the image panel. I matted with coordinating cardstock.

Pink Daisies for Nancy
Today is the birthday of a woman in our stamping group. She lives in Florida and we've never had the pleasure of meeting her in person. Here is the card I sent to her.
I cut the four smaller diamond-shaped pieces out of white, then temporarily taped them together. I stamped the images (two separate stamps) and colored them with Copic markers. I added some "specks" with an ancient Stampin' Up! stamp. I cut a large diamond out of black, separated the four smaller diamonds, and added them to the large diamond. The sentiment is from a different unbranded set.The diamonds were cut with QuicKutz dies.

Anniversary Celebrations
Paper piecing! I haven't done this for quite a while. I stamped the flowers and leaves on patterned paper and cut them all out. I added embellishments for the flower centers and popped the flowers up on foam squares. I added the leaves directly to the patterned paper layer. The flowers are from a new-to-me unbranded set and the sentiment is from Maya Road. Oh, and I drew in the stems with a fine point black marker.

March Calendar Page
Wow - now it's March!! Here is my March calendar page.
I used a digi image, which I colored with Copic markers. I cut the image out using a stitched square die. The matting is done with paper brought to me from Japan. I used the same set of stitched squares to cut it out.
