A neighbor asked me if I would make her a baby girl card, so I made her three. Here are two of them. Hopefully I can get the third one posted tomorrow or Saturday. These are just very simple cards. I had only about an hour to make them, but I like them clean and simple anyway! All the stamps are from old Stampin' Up! sets. The backgrounds were embossed with a Darice folder. The coloring was done with Copic markers.

A place for me to share the cards I create, and maybe a few other things, too!

Special Day
Finally, another card. Again, time just flies by with seemingly no time to spend in my stamping room. I did get the November calendar page done for next year, so I only have October and December left. I also got my 2024 calendars printed and cut, so I'm ahead of the game there.

At any rate, I had a little time to play on Wednesday night, so here is what I came up with. I hadn't used the stencil set from Gina K's newest release, so I decided to go with that. (I haven't used much of anything from it yet!!) I used her newest inks, also. The sentiment is from an ancient Impression Obsession set. I added a few of Gina's rhinestones. It felt good to play, but now more busy times ahead. We have our 50th class reunion this weekend. Fun!

Butterflies
And here is the last of the package of stickers. These came from the same package as the flowers on yesterday's cards. After placing the stickers on this panel, I embossed with an embossing folder - by Darice, I believe. Then I added another sticker - the sentiment.
On this one, I added Washi tape on each side of the panel and added the sentiment - which is also a sticker and was mounted on that strip and in my card parts.
This one is simply the sticker on a matted, purple panel with a stamped sentiment.

Multiple Flower Sticker Cards
The flower stickers on these cards are all from the same package. I got it years ago at JoAnn's. I used dies for embossing on most of the cards, and stamped sentiments.

Merry Christmas Bells
The die-cut sentiment on this card has been sitting on my table for quite a while. It was cut out of green metallic cardstock. I think the die may be from Impression Obsession. The patterned paper is from The Paper Studio and is matted with red.

Comfortable Thinking of You
An extremely simple card for today's post. The image stamp is from My Favorite Things. I THINK the sentiment stamp is from Gina K, but I'd have to check if someone wanted to know for sure. I stamped in a brown ink and matted with brown and added it to an off-white cardbase.

More Stickers
Three more stickers used up - one per card. For this first card, I used an embossing folder for the background and added a white panel inside of the square. I added the sticker to this white panel. I stamped the "thanks' and called it done.
I guess this could be a valentine. I found a piece of purple cardstock to place the sticker on and wondered what else I should do with it. I remembered some small embossing folders that I had, so I used one of them, then sanded it down a bit. I matted this panel with black.

Out-of-This-World Birthdays
And more stickers. There are five on these two cards, and I finished off another package. The robot/spaceman on this first card is actually pretty much lime green, but you can't tell it in the photo. He's shiny and reflective. The stamps for the sentiment are from Ranger. I matted the white panel with black and added it to a matted piece of printed cardstock from an old Recollections matstack.

Sparkly Birthday Hearts
More stickers out of the drawer and on to cards. Yippee! These three hearts were left in a package. I also used the packaging cardstock - the green patterned "paper" couldn't be tossed. I also added two thin foily stickers on the top and bottom of the image panel. The sentiment was in my card parts - a gold-foiled, computer-printed piece.

Dragonfly Wishes
Here is another image you'll be seeing again on a calendar page next year. Sometimes I make an extra one, and then use it on a card. The image is from Repeat Impressions. I colored with Copics and added Star Dust Stickles to the wings. I spritzed the panel with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I matted with black and added to some patterned paper. The sentiment is from Hampton Art.

Happy Fourth of July???
Crazy, I know - but here is a Fourth of July card in September. You'll be seeing this image again next July 1 on my calendar page, but hopefully you'll have forgotten it by then. I know that I will! At any rate, I printed these cones and cut them out with my Cameo Silhouette. I added Star Dust Stickles to the white areas of the ice cream. The patterned paper is from Recollections. I printed the sentiment with my computer and used bright blue foil on it. Hard to see that in the photo.

Daisy Stickers
I placed these daisies directly on some patterned paper, which I had already matted with a light tan cardstock. I embossed the sentiment in white.

September Calendar Page
Here is my calendar page for September. The leaves were done with Gina K stamps and dies, along with watercolor on watercolor paper. The sentiment is from Gina K, too, I believe, although I didn't write it down and this page was made over a year ago. The background paper is from Recollections from years ago.

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post!!! We were on vacation for a couple weeks and life has just been so busy since we've been home - which is almost three weeks ago! I have actually spent some time in my stamping room. I had only done January and February calendar pages for next year, so I concentrated on getting them done. I have now also finished March through September for next year. I will be getting Gina K's new kit today, and I think I'll use something in there for next October. Then I'll only have November and December left. I have also made some cards using stickers or other card parts that I had taken out in July. I'll get some cards posted soon.
