Two More Sticker Cards

And the last of my K&Co sticker cards. On these two, I also used some left-over squares from previous cards - after using a Papertrey Ink die. On both of them, the squares have ink blended around the edges and are mounted on foam squares. On this first one, I embossed the background with a Darice folder. The stamps are from Gina K.
On this one, I used a technique that I think I invented many years ago. I used my tracing wheel (from sewing and tracing paper - remember that?) on my ScorPal to make the design on the vertical panel. After doing the design, I used a blending brush to lightly add some color, then matted it.

Butterfly Stickers

Three more cards using stickers from a K&Co package. The sentiments are from Gina K. The patterned paper backgrounds are from a matstack from Jodie Lee Designs.

Sticker Cards

I dug through my stickers a couple months ago and chose some to save and the rest to give away. These three cards, and the five more I'll be sharing in the next couple of days, were made from a package of K&Co stickers. Most, if not all, of the sentiments are from Gina K. I also used my new Spellbinders Hemstitched Rectangles. (Thanks, Leslie!)

Six More Fall Cards

I finally had some time to spend in my stamping room this week. I made several cards with stickers which I will be sharing starting tomorrow. But, after I took the pictures and went to crop them for blog posts, I found these cards on the camera card, too! I thought I had blogged them all. These all use the same patterned paper from Recollections that I used recently. I have put the paper away for awhile again. :-)

Three More Very CAS Cards

Three more very clean and simple cards using the same ancient Stampendous set as a few days ago. They all also use scraps leftover from cleaning off my brayer. I did the coloring on them with Copic markers. The sentiment on this first one is from a Technique Tuesday set. The image is popped up on foam squares. The background for all of these is a very light blue/gray paper. This one and the next one are top-folding cards.
For this one, I used a stylus to score the lines on the background paper, then used a sanding block on them. I also added a tiny gem to the flower center.
To highlight this one, I used a marker to draw a border around the image panel and then color it with a very light Copic marker.

More Fall Birthdays

These cards are both 3 1/2 x 6 3/8 - made to fit in some envelopes that I have a lot of! The papers are all from Recollections. The sentiments are gold embossed. I added some tiny flowers and gold brads to the second card. The second card also has some gold metallic strips along the edges. I made three of each of these cards.

Fall Birthday

I'm back to working on a matstack of patterned paper that I got in January. Plus, I had stamped this leaf and gold embossed it back then, too. I gold embossed the sentiment, matted that panel with black, popped up the leaf and added some sequins.

Pink Butterflies

This card was made with all really old supplies. The stamps are both from Stampendous - the sentiment as well as the butterflies with black frame. I stamped the butterflies image on a scrap of the cardstock that I had cleaned my brayer off onto. I colored the butterflies with a Copic marker and added white dots to the wings. I still have two or three other scraps like that that I have matted with black. Maybe I'll make them all into cards like this one. The embossed frame was done with a Darice folder. I trimmed it down after embossing.

Just For You

While browsing through my stamps, I came across this set, so I made this card. Then, while writing this post, I had to look through my stamps again to see who the set was from. I found I have at least three sets with mason jars and covers! Oops. This one is from Recollections. The set includes the dies. I used a die to cut the cover. It's popped up with foam squares. I colored with very light Copic markers. I embossed the white layer with an old Cuttlebug folder and trimmed it down.

Thinking Of You Oval

I made this center oval to go on yesterday's card, but it was just too busy. So I found a scrap of patterned paper that matched nicely, matted it with black and added it and the oval to the white card base. I used a white Posca pen to add some tiny dots to the butterflies. The oval is mounted on foam squares. The stamps are all from Gina K.

Warm Wishes Wreath Builder Card

Another card made with the wreath builder by Gina K. This one was done a little differently, but still the same concept. The stamps I used are all by Gina K except for the one I used to create the strip across the center. That was done with an ancient background stamp from Stampin' Up!

Hand-Stamped Background

In November, I placed an order from Gina K. She had a great sale and I couldn't resist. One of the items I bought was a set with stencils, stamps and dies. I kind of thought the stamps didn't really go with the stencils and dies, but I used them to make this card. I also used ink cubes from Gina for the stamping. The die-cut "forever" and the stamped "FRIEND" are from the same set. The "forever" is mounted on foam pieces.

Wreath-Maker Anniversary and Thinking of You

I decided I needed to use my wreath-maker from Gina K, along with some Gina K stamps. The center is popped up on a foam square. The sentiment is from Gina K, too.

Here is another.

Starry Birthday

Another foiled piece done with my Glimmer Hot Foil system. I did it awhile back, but finally used it. I matted it with blue cardstock that matched some of the stars. The sentiment is gold heat-embossed and is from My Favorite Things. This card is about 5.25 inches by 6.5 inches.

Foiled Snowflakes

I was looking through my book of foils, and realized how many pre-printed sheets I have from Gina K that need to be foiled!! I made a few of these snowflake backgrounds using some really fancy silver foil. I made three of these cards. The sentiment was cut from silver metallic cardstock and also white cardstock and layered, then placed on some white cardstock and matted with more of the silver.

Happy Fiftieth!

Happy 50th anniversary to my friend, Patti!! It was actually last week, but I wanted to make sure the card arrived before I posted it. I hope you had a wonderful day.

I cut the background with a cover plate from Gina K. I matted it with a gold glittery paper, leaving a white border around the very edge. The sentiment was also die-cut, and layered many times. I cut my own shadow layer underneath it and mounted it on foam squares. I realized after taking the picture that I had mounted the heart layer crooked. I was able to take it off and glue it on straight!

With Love and Prayers

I took out my stencil basket a few weeks ago to remind me to use them. At the front were three die-cut shaped negatives that I had saved to make a card such as this. I ink-blended through the opening, then added the stamping. The trees and sentiment are both from Gina K.

More "Left-Over" Cards

These three cards are all like the one from a few days ago. The sentiments are the "negative" from foiled sentiments from yesterday. Each of the center matting layers are done with the cardstock from cleaning off my brayers, and each of them has different patterned paper on the bottom layer.

More 3D Embossing - with Color

I liked the brayered inked embossing so much, I made three more cards like that with my new folders. I added the same sentiment, also, and matted each sentiment with the cardstock I cleaned off the brayer on. The sentiment is pre-printed from Gina K and I used my laminator to foil them.

Flowery Birthday Wishes

I was left with a rather thin strip of patterned paper from the backside of yesterday's card, so I cut it in half and added it to the sides of this card front. Then I cut a panel to fit in the middle. The image and sentiment are from a Gina K set. I colored the image with Copic markers. I also added thin metallic stickers to each side of the image panel. You can't tell in the picture, but I added just a teeny bit of a glittery gel pen to the flower centers.

A "Leftovers" Card

This card was made from leftovers. I had this green layer piece leftover from cleaning my brayer. The foiled sentiment was the leftover piece from the card I shared a couple of days ago. I matted each of them with black. I used patterned paper for my bottom layer, and you will see the leftover from that piece on a card soon - perhaps tomorrow. I thought this would make a nice "guy" card.

Lovebirds Anniversary

And here is the last of the new 3D folders that I got from Altenew. For this one, I used ink and a blending brush over all of the embossing. The sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly.

Embossed Birthday

Another one of my new Altenew 3D folders. On this one, I added some color with ink and blending brushes. I trimmed down the panel and matted it. I stamped the sentiment and matted that, also, before mounting on foam squares.

White on White Embossed Birthday

I love the look of white-on-white, but perhaps I should have added a little bit of color to this one. The embossing was done with one of my new Altenew folders. I trimmed down the panel and used foam tape to give it some dimension. The sentiment is from Gina K. I stamped it with a gray, instead of stark black. I cut it out with a die and mounted it on foam squares.

Banana Leaves Birthday

I finally got myself some 3-D embossing folders! It was about time, I thought. Altenew had some on sale and had  free shipping on over $29 so I figured it was meant to be. For this first one (you'll be seeing more in the next few posts) I inked up the folder using a brayer before embossing. The sentiment was pre-printed from Gina K and I foiled it with my laminator and cut it out with a die. I matted it with part of the piece I had used to clean off my brayer. I mounted the sentiment panel on foam squares.

April Calendar Page

April has rolled around, so here is my calendar page. The image and sentiment are from My Favorite Things. I colored with Zig Clean Color markers. I sponged some ink around the edges. Happy Spring! I hope it feels like spring in your neck of the woods! LOL.
