Well, I actually finished up the cards using the hummingbird dies from a few days ago. I also used up other card part pieces. This die-cut piece was in my parts, again from many years ago. I used a new-to-me stencil from Gina K for the design behind the hummingbird. The sentiment is from Gina K, also. I added the green strip behind the die-cut leaf pattern. All of the hummingbirds are popped up.
I ink-blended the green on the left side under the die-cut leaves. Again, the stencil used behind the hummingbird and the sentiment are from Gina K.
This frame pieces was left-over and I ink-blended to make it the color I wanted. The background was embossed with a Sizzix folder. The sentiment is popped up and is from Gina K.
The same as the second one, but the hummingbird is facing the other direction.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I think these all turned out great! I love your idea to lightly stencil behind each bird. It adds such a nice finishing touch and grounds the image (even though the birds are in flight, lol). The fancy edge is pretty, but I like the framed one, too. Your mojo was really on fire when you made these!
ReplyDeleteLynette, they are so pretty. That stencil is a perfect touch to the card.
ReplyDeleteWell, there you go! You turned all those beautiful hummingbirds into fabulous cards! Love the stenciled accents and the die cut borders, as well as the embossing and frame on the one. You don't waste any time, and they're all lovely!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, Lynette. Well done.
