Onesie-Inspired Baby Girl Card

The first day our granddaughter, Amelia, was here, she had on such a cute onesie.  I loved the colors in it.  It was white and had butterflies across the chest.  They were in light pink, hot pink, bright green and navy blue.  That is what inspired this card:)

The cardstocks are all Stampin' Up!  I embossed the edges of the light pink with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder, then used my Scor-Pal on it.  You totally can not tell in the picture, but I rubbed a white pigment ink pad across the dots.  "In real life" the dots are white.  I punched the butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch and added pearls.  The sentiment is from a Studio G set stamped in Pink Passion from SU!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. Adorable card, Lynette! Love its simplicity, yet it has so many nice details, it doesn't seem simple. You're so good at that!

  7. Oooh I love this. Really pretty colours and design. Ins't the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder useful? Really sets this off, esp. with the scored lines.

    Appreciation from another Butterfly Lover!
