Side-Step Thanks

A member of our Yahoo! group from Canada couldn't make it to our Group Gathering.  (Maybe next year???)  She was so sweet and sent us all stamp-offs and card parts.  This card was for her.  Thanks, Annie!

The Lily of the Valley stamp and the sentiment stamp are both from Repeat Impressions. I colored the image with a Certainly Celery SU! marker and sponged some blue chalk on it before removing it from the die. The embossing is done with Cuttlebug folders. I also used my Scor-Pal. I used Nestabilities for the flower image and matting. The butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch from a Debbie Mumm Baby Girl matstack and I added pearls for the bodies. I also mounted two of the butterflies and the main image panel on Pop Dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. This is just SO BEAUTIFUL, Lynette. I am sure your friend will treasure it! The colors are so soft and soothing. And the image reminds me of the lilies of the valley we had growing on the side of my "growing up" house. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful card!
