Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Forty Winks

By now, you are probably expecting to find Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week when you check my blog on Mondays.  (I hope so, anyway:) )  Today is no exception.  Visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, to get the details on how to purchase this comfy little cat (#2606-J, Forty Winks) for 50% off.  You can find the stamp here - scroll down towards the bottom.  You can find all the Repeat Impressions stamps here - just scroll down a little ways for the categories.  Check out the other Design Team members' blogs for their inspirational cards, too.

For my card, I stamped the image on white cardstock, and then on light gray cardstock two more times.  I colored the images on the gray with a Stampin' Up! Going Gray marker.  I used my Oval Nestabilities to cut out the image and the mat.  I cut out the entire cat one time and glued it to the image which had been stamped on white, and just the head from the second image.  I mounted the head on Pop Dots for a little dimension.  The background is embossed with a Fiskars texture plate.  The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions, and is available as a single stamp mounted or unmounted, or on a sheet of 24 unmounted sentiments.

You still have time to enter the WHAT IF? Wednesday challenge.  The sketch and details are in this blog post.

The winner of the second RI blog hop was announced today, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  4. This card is beautiful. I have four cats and this reminds me of my big tabby - who sleeps most of the time. It's just the way he curls up. I love the embossing.
