Happy Birthday, Mom!
Today is my mom's 80th birthday. All of my siblings are in town, as are some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We'll all be going out to eat dinner at the Pizza Ranch and we'll have a great time!
The card I made for her is an easel card. You can find a tutorial on SplitCoastStampers here. The one I made is for a full-sized card. The dimensions for that are at the very bottom.
The main image stamp I used is from The Paper Studio. I colored the images with Stampin' Up! markers. The sentiment is from PSX. I used my Scor-Pal to add some definition to the white space, which I had masked off. The butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The letters are cut with a Cuttlebug alphabet set, and the border on the inside is also done with a Martha Stewart punch. I added Crystal Stickles to the letters, the butterflies, and the flower centers. The butterflies also have gems for their bodies.
One last view - this is what it looks like when you can only (mostly) see the front. This card is also for Flutter By Wednesday, which this time is to use glitter and bling!

This is a lovely card Lynette!! What happened to the ladder card you did for mom? I finally mastered the step cards!! I taught it at our group, both the side step and middle step (thanks for all your help!!) Its a fun card to do and has endless possibilities!
