January Calendar Page - and Happy New Year!!

Wow - it's really 2011!  Amazing!  I hope you all had a very fun New Year's Eve.  And here's wishes for every one of you to have a wonderful New Year, too!

Here is my first calendar page of the new year.  I got smarter this year, and wrote down the "recipe" for each of the months.  That way, when I post the page, I'll remember how I did it! :)  The snowman stamp is from Stampin' Up!'s Festive Favorites set.  I colored it with SU! markers and added some Star Dust Stickles to the ground.  The background paper is shimmery and thin.

Edited to add:   I have added another page to my blog.  It has a link to my calendar files and cutting instructions.  You can find it under my blog description - above the current post.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  3. Boy is that appropriate - not the snowmen because we have very little snow but snowmen have to be out in very cold weather and that is what we have today with the wind howling. How about a hurry spring post ??? LOL

  4. Happy New Year Lynette!
I love your calendar page, perfect image. What size do you make your full calendar page? I'm thinking that this might be a project I could start soon for some gifts for next year. I'll start to research that next week :)

  5. I'd like to work on my calendars for next year too, so its not a rush at the end of the year.
This is soooo cute, and very appropriate......we don't have snow, but we sure have COLD right now, it we had any precipitation, it would definitely be SNOW here, but spose to be dry for a few days!
Thanks Lynette for all you did in 2010, and looking forward to seeing your projects this year!!
