Repeat Impressions - WHAT IF? Wednesday

Today is Repeat Impressions WHAT IF? Wednesday.  We are given a sketch by Wendy and asked to come up with a card.  And, we ask you to join in, also!!  Make a card using the above sketch, upload your card to your blog or an on-line gallery, and link it up to the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.  You can find all the details and examples by the other Rock Stars on the blog, too. By linking your card, you are entered into a drawing to win a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions.  Here are links to other designers' cards:
Darsie ~ Dawn ~ Harriet ~Joy ~ Karen ~ Maki ~ Michele ~ Robin
Plus, we have a guest designer for April!  Please visit Ruza'a blog, too!

For my card, I started with the 110-G, Toadstools, available on this page.  I stamped with Memento black ink and colored with Copic markers.  I punched one corner with a Fiskars corner punch and added a thin strip the textured brown that I matted with.  The bottom layer is a lighter textured brown paper.  The sentiment is a rub-on.  I like using rub-ons on textured paper rather than stamping, because it's more even.  I added a piece of brown satiny ribbon across the top, and brown pearls on the right side.  The card base is Kraft from Papertrey Ink.

Won't you please join our challenge?  There is also almost a week left in our first Designer's Choice Challenge.  You can read about that in this post.  One lucky person will be the winner of a full sheet of unmounted stamps!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
