Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Lady Slipper

It's Monday - and time for another new Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions!  Even though I'm a little short on time, I HAD to make a card with this week's stamp:)  The stamp for this week is Lady Slipper, and it's Minnesota's state flower.  I will admit, though, it's been a while since I've seen a picture of one and I did have to look it up to see how to color it!  For this week only - through Sunday - this stamp is available for 50% off.  Please visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, for all the details and to see the other creations by the Rock Stars.  Or you can follow these links to the blogs:

For my card, I stamped the flower three times (intentionally with the middle one higher, but I really should have made it even higher so that it didn't just look "crooked") and colored with Copic markers.  I matted with a soft pink.  The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions, of course:)

    I love Lady Slippers. We saw them alot when we were in Minnesota in the Bemidji and Duluth areas. They don't grow here or at least I have never seen them. Your Copic coloring in getting really really good! Bet you wonder how you got along without them now.

    Love this card. As usual, your cards are beautiful. I haven't seen a Lady's Slipper in years. I like the sentiment and I know this card could be used for any occasion. Thanks for sharing.
