Happy Second Birthday, Amelia!

This is the card I made for our granddaughter's second birthday, which is today. They will be arriving for a few-day visit this afternoon. Yippee!

I paper-pieced the butterfly, which is from a Recollections set. The papers I used for this card are from the same matstack (Recollections, also) that I've been using a lot of lately. I matted with PTI Plum Pudding. The HAPPY BIRTHDAY is from PTI, too. I stamped the letters (from a dollar set), colored them with a Copic marker, and punched them out. They are mounted on pieces of Dimensionals. I colored the dots on the butterfly with a marker, too, and added flower gems on the antennae.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  2. That's a very happy butterfly, Lynette, and your little granddaughter is sure to love it!!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - glad you like the knitting! I can sit and relax and do it, and it's coming on apace! It's so long since I've done any, and I'm really enjoying it.

Yes, I haven't been too well this past week - a bit frustrating because I want to get on with so many things, but it's overdoing it that's put me in this state so I have to go on learning and re-learning the pacing lesson lol!!

    Hugs,
    Shoshi

I ironically just finished a 2-year-old's bday card for my DT project for Saturday (small world, huh?), but I don't have a sweet little GD to give it too, sadly! Some day, I pray?!!! ;~)
