This was one of the three cards that I got finished. One is very similar to others I've done, so it probably won't make my blog. The third one may find its way here soon. I stamped the sentiment (from PSX) on the cardstock, then embossed with a Swiss Dots folder. The flowers are from Michael's (Studio 18.) The butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart punch and have pearl centers. Simple, but pretty, I think.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment. Unfortunately Dad took a turn for the worse the next day and is now in hospital being stabilised and fully assessed. We went in yesterday to see him and it was sad to see him looking so frail in the bed, attached to a drip. He is quite confused and just seems very, very old all of a sudden. Hopefully he'll be well enough to come home in a few days. My hubby is being totally amazing - he's over visiting this p.m. and I'm trying to have a restful day at home to catch up a bit.

Thank you so much for your latest comment, Lynette. My hubby went in to see Dad this p.m. (I have been trying to have a restful day as I'm exhausted) and says he's not doing well - no sign of improvement despite being rehydrated and being on antibiotics for several days - he's terribly thin, and really confused and out of it. This is soooo unlike my Dad. At least he's in the right place and receiving good care, and maybe it will take a few more days for the treatment to start to work, but it doesn't look too good at the moment.
