Another Simple "Guy" Card

I have a nephew who turns 35 next week. This is the card I made for him. Always so hard, but the main thing is to just send a card and let him know I remembered.

 The main image is a retired stamp from Stampin' Up! (The set is called Vivid Greetings.) I stamped it with Midnight Muse. I only have five of the new ink pads from SU!, but I sure do like the way they work. The bottom layer is also Midnight Muse. I embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder. That's it, and it will work just fine:)

    This is perfect for a guy! It's got that manly background and manly colors, and I love the bold and manly sentiment. You got everything just right!

    You are so right Lynette, BD cards to our nephews at their ages are a challenge. Like you I just decided that the important thing it to let them know we remember.

    I have found that even the men love hand made cards. This one is great for any man. I love seeing guy cards. :)
