This card uses all four stamps from the set called "Close as a Memory. I inked up the flowers and stems with markers. I love the stamps like this that have "shading" built in so they look watercolored with no effort. I stamped the sentiment over the stems and matted with Old Olive cardstock. I mounted the panel on pop dots. The background was embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder. The inside shows the other two stamps in the set.
Edited to add: The embossing folder that I used is from a set called Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Birthday Set #2.

That is a cute bouquet of flowers! Very nice card and very appropriate for a sympathy.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Lynette.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card - love that stamp set.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely card... I sure hope you don't need it anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteI don't have this set, but probably something similar by SU...another one to CASE from you lol!
Lynette, this is so pretty! Thanks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeleteNow, here's a set I'm familiar with even though I don't have it. This pretty and simple design makes an ideal sympathy card. Hmmmm... don't know when I'll get my next set done seeing as how I just printed up five digis I aim to color, plus a Power Poppy release to get ready for. Guess I'll never run out of stamping, will I?
ReplyDeleteLynette, I love this card...classy and with such heart wrenching words. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful! The watercolor images are wonderful. Love the background.

I'm late to the party but I really like this beautiful card! I see that the background embossing folder is Sizzix. Would you please provide the name of the folder. I would like to see if I can find it. Thanks!!!
