Fourth and last card using the Stampin' Up! set called "Eclectic Corners." This completes another stack of SU sets to use in my mission to have them all see ink! Fifty down - 150 to go! :) (Actually, I have one more set from this last stack. It's called "Creative Corners." I just can't make myself use this set on twelve cards in a row! I'm going to leave it on my desk until I have used them all eventually, and then put it away. I have added a picture of it here.)
I stamped the image with Memento ink and colored with Copics. I added tiny purple gems to the center of each flower. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I matted with Marvelous Magenta (not sure I've ever used that color before!) and mounted on foam squares. I embossed the background with a Darice embossing folder and matted that with magenta, also.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Oh, my! This is my favorite of all your "corner" cards. I love EVERYTHING about it, especially the great embossed background! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card! I love the embossed background!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I just love the embossing.
ReplyDeleteAnother very pretty little corner stamp. #3 and #4 are my favorites. I can see why the set of 12 would be hard to use.
ReplyDeleteFabulous embossing, framing and colors.

Awww, come on, you mean you don't want to do 12 corner cards? LOL! I don't blame you.
ReplyDeleteI like the design and I really thought you were going to say that you did the background by hand with your Scor-Pal.
Now I want that embossing folder too.
I love your eclectic corners! What a great idea of Stampin' Up to create sets of corners. They are so versatile, and you are using them so creatively and beautifully - as I would expect from you! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMy scan has revealed that the cancer is confined to the bowel and hasn't spread, which is very good news. I've still got to have surgery, and am hoping for an appointment with the surgeon this week, after which I hope the operation will happen fairly quickly so we can get it over with - I may need chemo but this will just be to prevent it returning.

Oooh, this is pretty! Love the embossed background, and I'm one of the few who loves Marvelous Magenta, too. Haven't used it in soooo long but still have a few sheets left, plus the ink pad. The other corner set looks like fun, too!
ReplyDeleteI love all four cards that you have made using the Eclectic corners stamps. This card is my favorite!!! Loved the embossing folder and the colors that you used. :)
