Artist Choice Swap

This card is for an "Artist Choice" swap in my little stamping group. I left off the sentiment so the recipient could use it for whatever occasion they would like.

For some reason, I had this cardstock cut and scored into a card base. As you know, I rarely use anything but white! But, I decided to use this one up. I embossed it with a new (to me) embossing folder - Anna Griffin Matelasse for Cuttlebug. I embossed the strip across the middle with the border folder that came with this set. (Thanks for enabling me, Vicki!) The flower image is from a Gina K set. I stamped it with Memento black ink and colored it with Copics. I added yellow pearls to the flower centers. (FYI - I DID do this card before I did the "hello" card from a few days ago using this folder. And I wrote the post before that one. You just saw that one first:) )

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  2. Great card! Thanks so much for giving the names of the EFs since I asked. It's so much easier to do a specific search by name rather than just getting a ton to look through when you only know the brand. I need to limit my EF purchases, but I can't seem to stop buying EFs and wafer thin dies even though I'll probably never be able to use all the ones I already own! LOL! Oh, the joy (or is that pain) of our crafting addictions! Your blog title says it all. :)
