Light Blue and Olive Color Swap

I made this card to accomplish two things. One - our stamping group's monthly color swap colors are light blue and olive green. Check. And two, this set was the next set in my quest to use all of my Stampin' Up! sets.

The SU! set that I used is called Marvelous Morning Glory. It contains ten stamps. Believe it or not, I used nine of them on this card! (Two-step large flowers, two-step buds, two-step leaves, flower "holder," stem, curlicue.) The sentiment is from My Favorite Things. I matted with Old Olive.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  2. Wonderful card and being able to use 9 of 10 stamps to do it. I hadn't ever seen that stamp set or seen it used before. Nicely done!

  3. I really like these two colors together, even though I would not think they would look good together. The card says "vintage" and I LOVE vintage! Nice job, Lynette!
