Another card using a die cut from our Group Gathering. This piece was left over from the main piece, which you'll see in another card at a later date.
I colored this die-cut with Copic markers. I also cut the flower center with an oval die, cutting off extra so it fit and embossing with a Swiss Dots embossing folder. The butterfly is a Memory Box die, and I cut off half of it. I added a couple pearls and hand-drew the antenna. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. I rounded a couple of the corners and matted with purple.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Totally AHmazing. LOVE Love Love it Lynette.
ReplyDeleteI remember you keeping that left over piece from the die. You really made good use of it! I threw all of mine away.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet card, Lynette! Very delicate die-cuts. Thank you for your lovely comment - we are very fortunate to live where we do, and our coastline is so beautiful.

And now you have another half a butterfly to use later! Pretty with the big flower, and easy to mail. I always love that!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY love this card...I can't choose a favorite part. I think the technique that grabbed my attention right away was the rounded corners on just two sides...very unique!
