Color Swap Sympathy

I made this card for a color swap in our stamping group. The colors are gray and light blue.

I cut the left edge out with one of my Memory Box Addington Distressed dies using light blue cardstock. The flowers were stamped in gray with a Hero Arts stamp. The sympathy sentiment stamp is from the same set and is stamped in black. I matted with gray cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. You're making me love that die set! This makes a perfect sympathy card for either gender, really, but ideal for a man. We forget them sometimes when it comes to sympathy. Thanks for sharing another great idea, Lynette!

  2. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I don't usually care for the distressed look, but I've been doing similar cards with MB's Distressed Windham Collage dies.

  3. I'm really beginning to see how those dies work so well on cards! Nice use of the colors for our swap!
