Simple Sympathy

I found this very pretty paper in with my scraps the other day and decided it deserved to be used. It is ivory and black, so I used ivory cardstock. I matted the patterned paper with black. I stamped the sentiment (from Stampin' Up!) with Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I matted that with black, also, and mounted on foam squares.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. A really lovely card, Lynette. I love the limited palette. Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment - my finger has healed really well and I've had no dressing on it for several days now - it's tender if I press it but otherwise fine! I'm very busy and have not taken your advice not to overdo things unfortunately lol! I am suffering for it today and have spent the day on the recliner watching the Paralympics! I'll be better again tomorrow I am sure.

  2. Gorgeous designer paper! It deserves not to be covered up, so your card is perfect. It makes a really lovely sympathy card.
