Joy and Wonder

When I got new dies, I generally used them right away to test them out. Then I eventually use those pieces that I've cut. This is one of the die-cuts that has been sitting on my table for a while. I cut it out of green foil cardstock. Hard to tell in the picture, but the bottom layer is gold shimmery cardstock. I used Versamark ink and detail gold embossing powder for the sentiment, which is from Papertrey.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  2. LOL! I told someone the other day that I had become a "die orderin' fool" since I had found these cheap Chinese dies. I think you have been bitten by the same bug! :) :) Almost every card you post has a new die showcased. That is just wonderful!!! It is so much fun having dies that I could never afford before!!! I'm off to get some Halloween cards made today. I have several Halloween dies on the way that I knew I wouldn't receive in time for this year's cards, but I'll be ready for several years to come when they do arrive. LOL! The dies I'm having the most fun buying though, are the card front or background dies. I could never justify their cost at $25 or more a pop. Now, getting them for around $3 - $4 per die, I'm stocking up! :) :)

  3. This is beautiful and such fun to see how simple a totally gorgeous card can be. The soft, shimmery gold makes a perfect background for the green foil. Inspiring!
