Christmas Stripes

I used a die-cut ornament for this card. I colored the string with a silver metallic marker and used a piece of red velvet ribbon under the main part of the ornament. Then I popped up the ornament (but not the string) on foam squares. I used a Gina K stencil for the stripes on the background and stamped the sentiment directly on the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. That stencil gives a great background for the little ornament. The stenciling actually looked like DP.

  2. This is beautiful, Lynette! The stenciled stripes in the background really make that red lacy ornament pop! Hugs, Darnell

  3. This is a great looking CAS card. The stripes make a super background for your pretty ornament. And I'm sure the velvet ribbon gives a rich softness to the ornament's texture. Nice job--definitely a card design that is worth repeating!
