Birthday Cattails


I needed a birthday card for my brother, and this first one is the one that he got. Or hopefully will get by his birthday on Tuesday! I don't generally make cards for specific people, but I don't have any masculine cards in my stash. I ink-blended the background. For the sun, I ink-blended it on the cut-out pieces and added them back in. The sentiment is from Gina K.


Edited to add: The die is from Memory Box.

Since I had the die out, I made another card. I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug/Anna Griffin embossing folder. The sentiment is again from Gina K.

    Your brother got a beautiful card! I love the die, including as a negative on your second card. I didn't realize it was a negative until I saw the embossing peeking through. Now you have a second masculine card ready to go!
