Happy Birthday - Recycled

I think this was a Christmas card that we received. I just couldn't stick it in the closet, never to be seen for many years! The image is pearly and embossed. I trimmed it down and matted it and stuck it in the lower left corner. Then I stamped and die-cut the sentiment (from Gina K) and popped it up. I used ivory for the card base and the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. That was a perfect way to recycle that image! I always feel good when I'm able to give a card a "second life," don't you? I also wanted to let you know that all the Valentines you made and included in your box of donated cards have sold at the thrift store. I don't remember how many there were, but I believe it was somewhere between 6 and 10 of them. With the ones I make, I've been taking in about 8 or 9 of them each week (plus 8 or so other cards) since Jan. 1 and they always sell out every week. Thank you again for donating them!!!

  2. I’ve been doing the same thing with some of the cards I’ve received lately. Too pretty to throw away. This one you did is lovely.
