This card is for Clean and Simple Challenge #52 on SplitCoastStampers, which is a sketch. I had an idea of what to do, and I changed most of it along the way:) I did make a couple super quick cards with the pieces I didn't use, but I haven't taken pictures of them yet. Maybe I'll share them with you another day. I did the embossing with a Cuttlebug border folder. I stamped the flower centers with Stampin' Up!'s So Saffron ink and a stamp from Papertrey Ink's Paper Tray set. I sponged a little bit of Pallette New Leaf ink from PTI on the edge. The ribbon is from JoAnn's. The sentiment is stamped with New Leaf and the stamp is from PTI's set called Wishing You. The daisies are from Martha Stewart. I got them at a Big Lots when we were on vacation in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan last summer. Sure wish I had picked up several more packages! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon! |
A place for me to share the cards I create, and maybe a few other things, too!

There is something about a card with white and yellow daisies that is just so "fresh and clean" and a sign that Spring will come eventually. :)

Your card is amazing Lynette. I think that clean and simple cards are very hard to make. But you nailed it.
