I stopped at Michael's yesterday and picked up a couple things - a wooden dollar stamp, a clear dollar stamp set, a couple stamp sets that were greatly clearanced, and a Martha Stewart border punch that I got for 50% off with a coupon. It was a fun shopping trip:)
I had to use the MS punch right away. I took a piece of paper from a scrap pack and punched it. I threaded some ribbon through the slits and did some scoring on it. I decided it needed more, so I added a piece of ribbon between scored lines. The sentiment is from Papertrey's Birthday Basics set - big surprise! LOL!! - with Versamagic Purple Hydrangea ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
I hate to count how many boarder punches you have "talked" me into lol! Great punch and I love how you used it. I may have to go look for this one as well.
ReplyDeleteI love your style!! This is a great card! and love the punch too, does it have a name? I haven't seen it before.

Another beautiful punch Lynette! I'll have to play with all your punches while I'm visiting!!
ReplyDeleteBeatuiful CAS card, Lynette! I love the way you used the ribbon!
ReplyDeleteYour card is pretty Lynette. I almost bought the MS punch that you did. Instead I bought a different one. Happy to hear that you had a good shopping trip yesterday.

I love your "super simple" cards! I think it takes a special knack to put these together and you have it for sure!
