WHAT IF? Wednesday #3 - A Repeat Impressions Challenge

It's WHAT IF? Wednesday time again!  Wendy has challenged the Design Team - and YOU! - to create a card based on this sketch:
Looks like fun, doesn't it? :) Please create your cards, post them on your blog or an on-line gallery, and leave a link to it on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.  Please use keyword J210 if you upload to an on-line gallery such as SplitCoastStampers.  There will be a challenge every other Wednesday, and each month there will be a random participant chosen to win a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions!  Check out what the other Design Team members have created:

For my card, I used a Repeat Impressions Sunflower stamp.  I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I also stamped it on a piece of scrap cardstock, colored the flower, cut it out, and used Pop Dots to adhere it over the first one, which I had cut out with a Nestability.  I left it in the die and sponged it with blue.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is also cut with a Nestability.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. So very pretty; love how the soft blue really makes the sunflower 'pop'! Also love how the sunflower has dimension and peeks over the top of the nestie circle. Fabulous job; love it!!
