Well, I was able to use two of the embossing paste images from Tuesday’s tutorial so far. I still have one left sitting on my table. (By the way, the embossing paste I used is from Dreamweavers and is just called "Embossing Paste." They do have other types, too.)
For this one, I matted the image with a scalloped rectangle cut from Old Olive. The sentiment is from SU!’s Sincere Salutations. I think the background paper is from SU!, but I’m not positive. The ribbon is Old Olive, also.
I used the same sentiment for this one. I used a rotary cutter with a decorative edge for the right edge of the image panel. I scored a line with my Scor-Pal. I also sponged Old Olive on all of the edges. I embossed the yellow cardstock with my Swiss Dots folder.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you’ll come back and visit again soon!
Very nice cards - like the paste embossing look.

Oh man! These paste cards look incredibly rich!
ReplyDeleteI'm having computer issues but I'll look at your tutorial as soon as resolved!
Two more lovely cards...I'll need to try colouring before applying the paste and glittering next time I use my stencils.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you've made each day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations.
Kathleen.
Such pretty cards today showcasing your tutorial. I'm assuming you flipped your stencil on one of them. :D
ReplyDeleteYou've done such a lovely job with all the other elements of the cards, too. Thanks, Lynette!
Absolutely love both of these cards - the colors, the papers, the layout, the embossed designs!!!
ReplyDeleteLynette, both cards are beautiful. You used the stencil perfectly! I have a bunch of Dreamweaver stencils collecting dust. Once again you've inspired me to try something new!
