We're doing something fun for the Repeat Impressions Rock Stars, and YOU are welcome - and encouraged! - to join in. Darsie made a beautiful card and challenged us to case it. Please visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, to see the Rock Stars' take on it. Then, do your own casing and upload to the blog. We'd LOVE to see what you come up with! And, there is blog candy involved! :) Here is Darsie's card:
My cute little penguin stamp is from Repeat Impressions. I stamped with Versamark and embossed him with silver. I colored him a little bit with markers and sponged with light blue ink. I matted him with blue cardstock and put white dots on the scallops. The blue patterned paper is from Stampin' Up! It is matted with white cardstock which I punched with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. I put more blue cardstock under that so you could see the snowflakes better. I added a little scoring with my Scor-Pal, too. Some sheer ribbon and a bow complete the card.
I was going to announce the winner of my calendar later, but since I'm up and can't sleep ... :) The winner (chosen by random.org) is #22:

- Lynette, Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. I came to your site a few months ago and really enjoy your cards. You have such a clean and simple style that I really enjoy. I started a blog to post my cards but I am not as aggressive in my card making as of yet. I am so busy trying to redo my mothers scrapbook which is from 1948. The pages were crumbling in my hands as I was trying to remover the pictures and memorabilia. I am trying to get it done before Nov 20th because I would like to share it with my siblings at Thanksgiving. I grew up in a small town north of Pittsburgh, Pa called Beaver and I now live in St.Louis,MO Thanks for posting on your blog, I look forward to all the posts. http://athomewithjoan.blogspot.com/
