This week's Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week is 3806-D, Mitten. You can find it on this page - just scroll down a bit. You can purchase this stamp at 50% off through next Tuesday at 5:00 p.m EST if you follow the instructions on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built. Also, you can find many awesome examples of cards made by the Rock Stars using this stamp on the blog, too. Or, use these links:
Here is the card I created. I stamped the mitten on a shadow stamp and then on to a scrap of white cardstock. (This is to get a reverse stamp.) Then I inked up the stamp again, stamped it off on scratch paper, then on to my white cardstock. (I stamped it on the scratch paper first so that each stamped image would have the same intensity of black ink.) I colored the pair of mittens with markers and cut them out. I attached - just with tape - some silver cord to each of them. I added some Star Dust Stickles to the tops of the mittens. The background is stamped with Repeat Impressions stamp 3410-C, Random Snow (found on this page) with Baja Breeze ink from SU! The snowflake panel is matted with Baja Breeze, also. The sentiment (1141-F, Christmas) is from Repeat Impressions and can be found on this page. I added a little bit of glue where the silver cord crossed itself.
Don't forget, you have until tomorrow to enter the WHAT IF? Wednesday challenge, and until a week from Tuesday to enter the "Case Darsie" challenge. There are prizes for each challenge! Details for both challenges are on the RI blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
