A while back, (July 16) I made this card and uploaded it to my blog. This week it is the card for the Repeat Impressions Rock Stars - and YOU - to CASE! Please visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, for all the details. Basically, CASE my card, upload it, and link it to the RI blog. You will be entered for a chance to win a full sheet of unmounted stamps! Check out the other Rock Stars' creations, too!
Here is the "recipe" for my card, copied from my previous blog post:
I stamped the image (Repeat Impressions #904-L Daffodils) with Versamark and embossed with Detail White embossing powder. I sponged with Stampin' Up!'s Soft Sky ink and then colored with Stampin' Up! markers. I matted the image with Soft Sky, also. The corners were rounded with a Fiskars corner rounder. I embossed a piece of white with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and added that to the top of the card. The bottom panel is from Die Cuts With a View Nana's Nursery - Boy and added some ribbon. The Daffodils panel is mounted on Pop Dots. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Basics, and is also embossed with white embossing powder.
You have another week (til next Tuesday) to make a card for the WHAT IF? Wednesday challenge, too. The details are here. You would be entered to win a $25 gift certificate from Repeat Impressions for that challenge!
Also - a personal message to La Vonne H. I received your nice email yesterday and tried three times to write to you. Each time it was rejected! Here are three places where you can purchase the Spellbinders Daisy Edgeabilities. I am not affiliated with any of them, nor have I ordered from any of them.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the amazing inspiration!!!
I really like that stamp because it represents Spring and I'm ready for Spring. :) I like the layout of this card too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Lynette. I love the embossing and the sponging that you did. I can see why RE is using it as a casing card.
