Today brings another Repeat Impressions WHAT IF? Wednesday Sketch Challenge - where the Rock Stars are given a sketch by Wendy and asked to come up with a card. AND we ask you to join us! One random winner for the month will win a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions! Just create your card, upload it to your blog or an on-line gallery, and link it up to the RI blog, The House That Stamps Built. Visit the blog for the sketch and all the details, and pictures of the Design Team's creations. Or follow these links:
Darsie ~ Dawn ~ Harriet ~Joy ~ Karen ~ Maki ~ Michele ~ Miriam ~ RobinFor my card, I started by stamping Tulip Bouquet with Stazon ink, and coloring with Prismacolor pencils and Goo-Gone. I cut it, and the matting, with Oval Nestabilities. I matted the pink layer with shimmery gold and added the beautiful ribbon and gold "net-tish" ribbon. I omitted the bow on the left, since my ribbon was so wide.
Won't you join us? Also, you have almost another week to participate in Robin's Designer's Choice Challenge to use robin's egg blue, rust and kraft. One random winner can choose a full sheet of unmounted rubber! See the details here.
And one more thing - I hope you are still with me! The stamp of the week is Where We Love. Just scroll down a bit. You can find the details on how to get this stamp for 50% off on this blog post - through Sunday only!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
