Repeat Impressions WHAT IF? Wednesday Sketch

Today - being Wednesday - is time for another Repeat Impressions challenge.  This week it's the WHAT IF? Wednesday sketch challenge.  Here is the sketch for this time:

Please visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, for all the details on how YOU can win a $25 gift certificate from Repeat Impressions by participating in this challenge.  You will also find the wonderful creations by the other Rock Stars there, too.  Or you can follow these links:  (Sorry - they are a link to the blogs, and NOT to the specific blog post.  Just look for the post dated 7/13.)

For my card, I started with this week's Stamp of the Week, Hammock.  (Check out the RI blog link above for the details on this special offer, too.  You can purchase this stamp for 50% off through Sunday.)  I stamped the image on textured white cardstock and colored it. I added the embossing at the bottom with a Cuttlebug border folder.  I thought it mimicked the design on the patterned paper.  I added the same textured cardstock to the top of the card and sponged it with some brown ink.  The patterned paper is all from Die Cuts With a View Green Matstock.  The sentiment is a rub-on.  (Recognize it?  I got a package of white ones and black ones, and I certainly have been using them!)

We'd love to have you join us!  Good luck!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  3. Very interesting sketch and your choice of image and papers really complement it. A card made for dreams... wishing I was in that hammock dreaming right now!

  4. Great take on this sketch! I like the small flourish (embossed and stamped) you have used to accent your image.
