Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Summer Frame
This week's Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions, available for 50% the regular price for this week only, is called Summer Frame and can be found on this page. Check out the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, for all of the details and to see the other wonderful creations by the Rock Stars. For my card, I stamped the image on white and also on a tan. I cut out the frame and glued it to the image after I colored the sea critters with Copic markers. I colored the rest of the image with Copic markers, also, except for the bathing suit, which I cut out of some Die Cuts With a View cardstock. The background (Kraft from Papertrey Ink) was stamped with one of the newest stamps from Repeat Impressions, Sandcastle, with Creamy Caramel ink from Stampin' Up! The sentiment can be found on the same page as the Sandcastle.

ReplyDeleteLove how u did this. Reminds me of my daughter up in Canada when we were on vacation. The background is terrific. I have been experimenting with stamping all kinds of different backgrounds with the stamps I have and the results have been great! Thanks for sharing with us. Keep up the GREAT work. ekc
ReplyDeleteLynette, you are so clever to use the Sandcastle as a background for this image! Wonderful coloring!
ReplyDeleteAdorable paper-pieced swimsuit!
