It's Wednesday, so that means it's time for another Repeat Impressions challenge. This week, it's a WHAT IF? Wednesday Sketch Challenge. Here is this week's sketch, designed by Wendy - the owner and stamp designer of Repeat Impressions.
We'd love to have you join us in using this sketch. Make your card using the sketch, upload to your blog or on-line gallery, and link to the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built. You will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from Repeat Impressions. Visit the blog for all the details and also to see the wonderful creations by the other Rock Stars. Or, you can follow these links to their blogs.
For my card, I used the sunflower image, found on this page. (Scroll down a little ways.) I stamped it on textured ivory paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Bic markers. I matted with a reddish-brown cardstock, after rounding the corners. I added the ribbon and bow, brown pearls, and the sentiment - also from Repeat Impressions. The card base is Very Vanilla, from Stampin' Up!
You also still have nearly a week to participate in the Designer's Choice Challenge - to make a Fall or Halloween card. This is for a chance to win a full sheet of your choice of unmounted rubber. The details can be found here.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. Once I've decided on postage rates etc. etc. I shall be opening up my Etsy store! Nothing interesting on my work table at the moment except accounts books, and not much activity going on with them, either, I'm afraid to say!! ROFL. Have a great day.
Love the simplicity of this card. Makes me want to do more white cards. I need to get that sunflower stamp! Miriam

ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment on my blog, Lynette! Lutefisk... Lol! Yes, you need a very strong stomach to eat it, let alone actually enjoy it, I think!! Thanks for the info re the pearl pen - I shall look out for that as it might be very useful. I opened my Etsy shop last night! Scary pressing the button to make it all "live" but now I'm excited, and looking forward to getting some interest! There's a link to it on my blog if you want to hop over and have a look! Have a great weekend.
