I used the Vase of Tulips stamp. I paper-pieced the tulips and the vase and colored the stems and leaves. I cut it with a Spellbinders die and sponged the inside before removing the die. I added pearls to the "bumps." I matted with black after punching the corners with a Fiskars corner punch. I used the same paper for the bottom layer as the tulips and matted that with black, also. The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Pretty card - love the corner punch
ReplyDeleteLynette, so pretty. I do love tulips they truly are a reminder that spring is coming. Of course being as far north as I am it will be 3 - 4 months until they will be in the gardens. Great look using paper piecing.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you used black with your pastels too! Lovely card.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done - that is one of my favorite RI images!

ReplyDeleteI love your Spring Colors card for my DCC and just had to stop by and tell you that! I am so busy with SAS4Kids and everything else I just can't get around and comment on the team's cards as much as I would like, but this card- as always- is super!
