I've had this black paper sitting around for a while, waiting for me to use it. It is white on the back, so I wanted to emboss it and then sand it down. That's what I did:) I used a Cuttlebug folder. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! and I used a Spellbinders die to cut it out. I added the only black and white wide ribbon that I had. It's been nice to have some time for stamping, even though I should have been doing other things. I actually made a card yesterday for a couple challenges that I was going to post today. I thought I liked it enough (just enough, not a lot) but when I put it in the post, I really didn't like it! You'll never see it.
Have a great Saturday.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Very pretty, Lynette
ReplyDeleteVery classically elegant Lynette. This CB folder is one of the first ones I used when I was starting out with my Cuttlebug. Thanks for reminding me about it.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful card! I just bought some ColorCore cardstock today. I can't wait to try this sanding technique. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooo elegant, just lovely. I must remember to get some colorcore black so I can try this!! I probably do have something.
ReplyDeleteAren't we all curious what Lynette doesn't like so much.......now you've got me wondering about that "other" card....... hee hee
This looks really pretty! I like the white core papers for embossing and sanding, but I often forget to use that technique! Thanks again for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! And with the ribbon it's an awesome combination!
