For each of them, I started with a die-cut sentiment that I cut while I was in Des Moines at our Group Gathering in June. I had two in navy, two in olive and two in "Christmas green." The patterned paper I used is from a Recollections seasonal matstack. I also added a strip across the top of each of them, embossed using a snowflake border embossing folder by Cuttlebug.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Its not cheating-its clever! And I love the CAS design. The embosing folder mixed with the DSP makes for a great CAS card. Thanks for joining us at ATCAS
ReplyDeleteI love it when you do different interpretations of the same design, Lynette. It completely alters the effect, and gives such a good idea of what can be done with certain changes - expanding one's ideas outside the box!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your lovely comments - our move is such an exciting project, isn't it. We are concentrating on getting Mum's annexe sorted so we can move her furniture in from storage on Friday, and then we can concentrate on our own once more. We are now hoping to move on 16th Sept but that may change again if the builders aren't finished in time! I'm waiting for a few final details to be finished in my ARTHaven and then I can start moving the stuff in.
Regarding my colitis, I am amazed to say that despite the doctor saying I shouldn't expect to see any improvement for 2-4 weeks, after 3 days I was virtually symptom free! I haven't felt so well in that dept. for years. OK, I have to take medication for the rest of my life, but that's a small price to pay.
Do you use Firefox? Today I decided to change to Google Chrome, and so far I haven't had any problems posting comments. Firefox had a major upgrade recently and several of my add-ons don't work, and I think there may be a conflict between Blogger and Firefox. IE wasn't so hot either, but Chrome seems fine - worth trying at least until Firefox manage to untwist their knickers.
Have a great week!
Shoshi
I love the die cut sentiment that you used as well as the embossing folder. All three of your cards are lovely Lynette. Hope you are having good weather.

Lovely cards. It is nice to change out a design by using different papers. I like the second paper choice, but I was amazed at how the white dots on the red looked like falling snow. TFS and playing with us at Christmas Card Challenge #38. :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love the red polka dots, but I love the soft snowflake paper, as well. Both are beautiful. Let's see... I have about a fourth of your 48 done -- sheesh!
ReplyDeleteMaking multiples is certainly not cheating- it is brilliant!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along at CCC!
