I've had all the pieces for this card cut out and ready to put together for about a week or more. I finally decided to put it together and post it. I'm still not sure if I like it or not!
I greatly admire Leslie's cards. She often has stitching on her beautiful cards and I keep meaning to try it again. I've had my sewing machine out on my stamping table for a few weeks, and even got the tension all adjusted for cardstock:) I think I'll have to try again, though. The die cut shapes are Spellbinders. The flower is two pieces put together with a brad - from the wedding section at Michael's years ago. I also added mini white brads to the sentiment piece. The sentiment is mounted on Pop Dots and so is the flower.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
I really like it Lynette! The delicate dies work so well with the stitching! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty color. And I think you did a great job of putting everything together. I've never done stitching on a card but think it looks great on yours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Lynette! Love the pretty color combination! Thanks for sharing...hope you're well!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynette. Long time. Hope you are well. Love this card and love how you did your sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI love the mint and white and the pretty die cuts! And your stitching looks fabulous! I love the texture stitching adds without adding any weight or bulk. Fits right in with your awesome CAS style! Thank you for the sweet mention, Lynette.
ReplyDeleteOh, my Lynette, you did Leslie proud! Your fresh and minty card reminds me of a beautiful vintage ladies handkerchief!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day! Hugs, Darnell
Sewing on fabric comes so easy for me. Sewing on cards not so much. This is beautiful. I love the minty colors. Great job.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely beautiful card. It is so light and delicate, I just love it!
