Just an FYI for anyone who hasn't been here for a while. I'm on a mission to use all of my retired Stampin' Up! sets. I have them arranged by size and then alphabetically. I'm starting with the small sets, hence lots of small stamps! :)
Today's set is called "A Flower For All Seasons." I have made four similar - but different - cards. For all of them, I stamped the image with Memento ink and used Copic markers. I also cut them all with Nestabilities and mounted the frames on foam squares. I embossed all of the backgrounds and the sentiment stamps are all from Technique Tuesday. This first one uses the poinsettia stamp. The embossing folder is from Darice.
Next the frog and daisy stamp and the embossing folder is from Sizzix.
The sunflower stamp and the embossing folder from Darice.
The tulip and bird stamp and the embossing folder is from Cuttlebug.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Very cute cards! I love this set and always seem to forget about it. Going to dust mine off and use it! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteAll of them lovely but the embossed flourish on the Christmas one just really stands out. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove how you framed each one and love the embossing folders you chose to go with them. It's especially sweet how the embossed birds in the last card match up with the image. I'm working on my next set this weekend, but it's slow going. You keep inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteAnother set that I had to have but I don't think I have used. Love those cute little images and your coloring! You're creating some great cards!
ReplyDeleteI love all 3 cards. Using a different embossing folder and different colored frames for each stamped flower image is wonderful Lynette.

Lynette you've created 4 wonderful cards. The embossed backgrounds and the frames set off your beautiful colored flowers so well.
ReplyDeleteGosh, what did we ever do before embossing folders?! I'm sure our pre-e/f cards were darling, but wow, the embossed backgrounds add a ton of pizzazz!! These are all so CASlicious and gorgeous, Lynette! That first one is really remarkable!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteMy first visit here and love the mission. I have thought of doing this but never started. Need to make some card kits for our next Operation Write Home card party and I'll be getting out my old stamp sets that I have never used. Thanks for the motivation and I love your cards.
