All I Have Seen

This set was almost enough for me to drop my quest to use all of my Stampin' Up! sets! I bet I spent three "sessions" in my stamping room just staring at this set and trying different things. The stamps seem nice enough. They just didn't do anything for me! The set is called "All I Have Seen." The images are made to stamp "splotchy." That works for some stamps, but to me, these just really looked like they should have stamped better, but trust me, it's the way they are meant to look:) I tried so many things and wasn't happy with any of them. Finally, I remembered a black and white card I saw recently and thought, "Aha! That is what I have to do!" So, here it is. I added a rose-colored enamel dot  to the flower for a tiny dash of color. And I added some Washi tape on the bottom and matted with black. Finally! I can move on to the next set.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  1. Now here's a set I used to have, but no longer. It probably stumped me the same way. The images are appealing to me, though. I don't believe I ever did anything this nice with them. I love how this turned out. One set/one card! Great job, Lynette!

  2. I've not seen this set before, but I do love the words of the sentiment. Good for you sticking with it until you succeeded!!!

  3. I absolutely love this one in black and white! (You may also have convinced me that I need to get some washi tape!)

  4. I picked this set up at a rummage sale for $1. Except for the nice verse I thought it was a waste, but you have talked me into trying again.

  5. Sorry it took so long for the card to come together for you but it turned out great! Love the little touch of red which finished it off perfectly! I bought this set at a sale but hadn't used it. After seeing your card I will and I also found some additional great ideas for it on Pinterest.

  6. I love it Lynette. I admire your goal of using all your SU stamp sets. I love the layout with the sentiment in the corner.
