A couple months ago, a friend showed me a card she had made. It's called a "Pop and Twist" card. I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to make one. Last weekend was the time for me to try:) I knew that the hardest part for me would be trying to figure out how to decorate so many spaces! So, I went totally clean and simple. I only took these two pictures, but if you search for instructions, you will see how it works and can find different ways of making it. It looks like a "regular" card from the front, but when you open it, the middle part twists and pops out. Pretty cool!
I used a couple more of my new dies. I layered the "Happy Birthday" with about four pieces. The sentiment stamps are from a Hampton Arts set.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
How fun, Lynette! Your inside CAS is a perfect design! Maybe I missed it, but I want to know if you made that front panel or is that a piece of pp? It is really gorgeous! If you made that, girl, you need to call K and Company to sell your design!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card! I found a video for the technique and just might give it a try.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is very cool and you're wise to go CAS inside. The dies and sentiment are perfect, especially with the paper on the front. I, too, have trouble coming up with ideas for decorating so many facets. I totally love this, Lynette!
ReplyDeleteAren't these just so much fun? Great card, Lynette! And I think I have that paper! Hugs...!
