Life

I asked for this Papertrey Ink stamp set many years ago for Christmas, and I'm pretty sure it has never seen ink - until a few days ago, when I made these cards. I will probably never have a use for them, but at least I've used the stamp set! :) For both of them, I used only stamps from the set, except the speckles, which were done with a long-retired Stampin' Up! stamp. The matting on both of these were pieces that I already had left-over from other projects. I decided to use the scraps instead of fully matting the images. Both images are mounted on foam squares. Also on this first one, I stamped the flower lightly, so it wasn't fully inked on the stamped image, and then I filled in with a marker.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  3. Never have a use for them??? Tsk tsk, Lynette! They'd make perfect birthday or retirement cards. Probably several other occasions, too. And they're so very pretty! Love the clean, contemporary designs and the colors.

  4. I have that set and I do use it occasionally. Not enough though. Your cards are lovely. Never would have thought to stamp the flowers on top of the foliage but I will now!! Thanks for the inspiration

  6. These cards are so pretty, and I agree with Leslie--they'd make wonderful birthday or retirement cards. I could even see them as "new home" cards, congratulations (on a new job or promotion) cards. Lots of uses! I really do hope you use them.
