Beautiful Days of Retirement

Nothing different about this card, but I post nearly every card that I made, so here you go:) I used a Memory Box corner die on ivory cardstock. I placed rose colored glitter paper underneath and made it show around the edge, too. The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions. I use it a lot for retirement cards. I matted the sentiment with the same glitter paper and mounted it on foam squares. This is for a friend whose last day of work was Friday.

More Lasting Impressions Papers

Both of these cards used paper from the Lasting Impressions pad that I got from a friend many years ago. Both of them use ivory cardstock. The stripes, the hearts (which I cut out and popped up on foam squares) and the dotted strip are all from the pad. The sentiment is an old Hero Arts wooden stamp.
The striped and flowered paper, the purple paper, the dotted strip and the hearts are all from the Lasting Impressions stack.

Tulip Birthday

I've had this stamp set from Papertrey Ink for many years. I know that I have used a lot of the stamps, but I'm not really sure if I had used these ones or not. Well, now I have for sure. This first one has an ivory card base. The patterned paper is from Gina K. I actually used some ribbon!! Both the tulips and the sentiment are from the same stamp set. The image panel is matted and mounted on foam squares.
I used a couple dies for this one and some patterned paper that came from a Michael's matstack.
And one more, using a different stamp from the PTI set, and a sentiment from a different PTI set. I added the sparkly Kaleidoscope embossing powder on the entire image panel. I used up a jar of embossing powder - unbelievable! I had to get another.

January Window Birthday Card

After I made my January calendar page for 2020, I had one snowman left over. So, I made this card. I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out with a stitched square die. I added some Gina K patterned paper to a card front and used a larger stitched die to cut out the hole in the front. I added the square that came out of the front to the inside of the card and mounted the image on it with foam squares. The sentiment is a Mrs. Grossman sticker added to a thin strip of cardstock and is mounted on foam squares.
I thought this would make a nice birthday card for a December or January birthday.

"Instant" Cards

I have some lovely paper from Lasting Impressions that I got from a friend several years ago. I promised I would use it, and I'm still working on it:) Here are two cards that pretty much made themselves. The flower and stripes are all together. All I did was add the sentiments, which are from Papertrey Ink. For this first card, I embossed the black ink-stamped sentiment with sparkly embossing powder, matted it and mounted on foam squares.
For this second card, I stamped directly on the image, trimmed down the panel and matted with matching cardstock. Both cards have an ivory base.

Recycled Anniversary

We received a thank you from friends, and it was just too beautiful to toss. So, I cut the front of it off and removed the backing. I took the die-cuttish piece that was left and made this card. I backed it with glittery greenish cardstock. The sentiment (from Papertrey Ink) was stamped on ivory cardstock and mounted on foam squares. The card is about 4 x 6 inches.

Happy Anniversary, Lucy and David!

This card is almost identical to the card I posted on April 7. I actually made this card first. It's for my grade school friend, Lucy, and her husband. I used slightly different colors, and of course, a different sentiment. The sentiment is mounted on foam squares. As with Georgia's card, I first embossed with glittery (Kaleidoscope) embossing powder and then with thick embossing powder. This was after coloring with Copics.

More Daisies

The last two daisies from my Martha Stewart package! Feels good:) I will miss them, though - they are so pretty. The paper is the left-over from a few days ago. It's from The Paper Studio. The washi tape has gold in it, so I used gold embossing for the sentiment, which is from Papertrey Ink. The leaves, and the dies to cut them, are from Gina K.

Daisy Anniversary

Two more of my Martha Stewart daisies used up. I only have two more to go. It doesn't happen very often, but I'm always happy when I can finish a package of something! :)

This card is for my nephew's first anniversary. I used a die to cut the right edge. I used some Paper Studio paper for the bottom layer. I used a die to cut the leaves. I drew the stems with a marker. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Another Daisy Birthday

Left over from Friday's card were these three black squares, along with a rectangle. I thought I would get rid of the squares right away. I had also taken these flowers out of my sticker drawer, so they got used, too. They are by Martha Stewart. I used some coordinating paper from a matstack that I got a few years ago at Michael's and matted it with black. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. What a classic layout:)

Happy Birthday, Georgia!

Another previously-stamped image. I colored with Copic markers and cut it out. Then I used Versamark ink to cover the entire image. I used Kaleidoscope embossing powder on it. Then I covered with Versamark again and used ulta-thick embossing powder over that. You can kind of see what it looks like. The sentiment is a sticker. I'm continuing to try to use things up! Happy Birthday, Georgia!!

Sympathy Butterfly

I promise - I'm getting close to using up the stamp-offs that I've had for years. At least for a while, anyway. I may just put a few away again:) This butterfly was stamped with black dye ink and embossed with some sparkly embossing powder. I matted with black and mounted on foam squares. I added a wide strip of black and the sentiment, which is from Kaisercraft.

Just "Bee" Cause

One more ancient stamp-off:) I had the image and I had the sentiment already stamped. I colored the image and the sentiment, then I cut the sentiment into three pieces and mounted them on foam squares. I cut the frame out of black with an unbranded die. I was looking for some patterned paper and I happened across the perfect sheet!

Happy Day

I used another pre-stamped image for this card - I don't know who made it. I colored with Copic markers and added some doodling around the edges. The bow was made from cardstock using dies. The image is mounted on foam squares. The image panel and the cardbase are ivory.

Button Flowers

In with my stamp-offs, I had several (six, I think) of these flowers. I believe they were from Papertrey Ink. For this first one, I used it the way it was meant to be used - I used buttons for the flowers. The sentiment I added is from Gina K. I also drew smiles on the buttons:)
For this one, I punched circles for the flower centers using the same patterned paper as the bottom layer. The sentiment is from Papertrey.

Christmas - With Foil and Patterned Paper

I now have tons of foil and printed sentiments and backgrounds that I need to use. I have a few sheets of these Merry Christmas ones, so I made up three cards with them (but only used up two of the printed ones, since one was the negative!) Most of the products I used on these cards are from Gina K - the patterned paper and the laser-printed sentiments. The foil is from Thermo Web. I cut the sentiments with rectangle stitched dies.

For this second card, I used the left-over part of the foiled sentiment. I used my ATG gun tape to adhere the left-over foil to white cardstock, then die-cut it.
Same card - different patterned paper.
For the last two cards, I simply matted the strip of paper left from the 6 x 6 sheet and added the sentiment - which is from Papertrey Ink.

April Calendar Page

Well, we have arrived at April! Here is my page for this month. Seems like I have lots of pages this year that are just stamped and colored, but that's OK:) I do like a little more variety, though. At any rate - the image is from My Favorite Things. I colored with Copics. I also added some hand-doodling around the edge. The end!
