Finally - a non-critter card. They were fun, though. You can't tell in the photo, but the butterfly and the little piece on the bottom are glossy cardstock which I brayered ink onto. The butterfly is mounted on foam squares under the body. I used a stencil and light ink for the background. The sentiment is from Gina K.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Wowie, love your background! It looks like the butterfly got ink on its wings and scooted around all over. Well, sort of. Pretty sure I have this stencil. As always, I have so many things it's hard to decide what to use next. Really love this card, Lynette!
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern in the background. Another fun stencil session, I see. This card is really eye-catching. Love the two-toned butterfly. I hadn't thought about brayering ink onto glossy cardstock. Might have to give that a try.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really neat stenciled design as the background! Love it! The addition of the butterfly and sentiment is really all you needed.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I missed this! Beautifully done, my friend!
